Who it’s for: Youth programs, community services, Food banks, shelters, soup kitchens, housing services This is our most requested community food security session. If you need to teach people how to grow food AND start growing during the workshop, this session is for you. We come to your space (or join virtually), walk your group through how food can grow without soil, and get hands-on — planting seeds, mixing nutrients, and setting up a working hydroponic unit (rented or provided by you). Perfect for shelters, emergency food providers, or drop-ins that want immediate, tangible value. What you get: This is a hands-on food-growing workshop where we come to your location and show your team how to grow leafy greens, herbs, or culturally important produce using small indoor hydroponic systems. We’ll walk you through planting, care, harvesting, and how to safely incorporate the produce into meals or food hampers. If you’re trying to increase access to fresh, high-quality food — this is your program.
